HOLLOW Roblox Events: Find Disturbances and Clear Nodes

Last updated:

Events give you enemies to fight for EXP, evolution progress and completion rewards. Start by locating a disturbance, then use the active node’s objective and remaining-target counter to guide the fight.

At a glance

Open EVENTS / MISSIONS and select Sense A Disturbance. Follow the location marker and yellow pillar, or enter the Garganta that opens. In a Party, let the leader open the event entrance. Defeat the targets tracked under EVENT NODES until the counter reaches zero and the event shows CLEARED.

HOLLOW Roblox Events: Find Disturbances and Clear Nodes — illustrated cover

Find and Enter a Disturbance

On Koshiro’s Hollow tutorial route, complete A Nearby Disturbance and return to him for the introduction to event searching.

  1. Expand EVENTS / MISSIONS at the bottom left.
  2. Select Sense A Disturbance. In Portuguese, the option appears as Detectar uma Perturbação.
  3. Follow the DISTURBANCE LOCATED notification and location marker. A yellow pillar marks the event area on the Hollow Ambush route.
  4. If a Garganta opens, walk into it to reach the encounter. When playing in a Party, have the leader open this entrance, then follow them through.
  5. Check EVENT NODES for the active event’s name and targets.

If the search button displays COOLDOWN, wait until Sense A Disturbance becomes available again. Events can also appear while you explore.

For team controls and the leader’s role, see the Party guide.

Event Directory and Objective Counters

Use the event directory to identify your node, its objectives and any encounter-specific target counts. During combat, read the live EVENT NODES panel:

  • ACTIVE means the encounter is underway.
  • Remaining counts targets still to defeat. For example, 2/3 remaining means two of the three targets are still left.
  • CLEARED confirms completion; the Portuguese interface may display LIMPO.

Keep fighting the tracked targets until the counter reaches zero and the completion message appears. Use the node’s name to identify your objective: a separate boss health bar can appear on the same screen without naming the event you are clearing. Named world targets and their reward previews are covered in the world boss guide.

Hollow Skirmish and Hollow Ambush

Hollow Skirmish is Koshiro’s tutorial event. Enter his Garganta during A Nearby Disturbance and defeat both Hollow. The counter drops from 2/2 to 0/2 when you finish.

Hollow Ambush is a repeatable combat encounter with varying target totals. Follow your current counter rather than assuming every ambush contains the same number of enemies. Hollow can emerge from black rifts while the event is active, so watch for reinforcements instead of treating the first visible group as the entire fight.

Look for black-bodied enemies with white masks and glowing yellow eyes. Both upright and crouching enemies can carry the Hollow name. Keep your attack item or weapon equipped and clear the enemies counted by the node.

For early progression, Hollow Ambush is a sensible starting choice: it lets you practice clearing ordinary enemies before taking on the faster, more disruptive Adjuchas encounters.

Adjuchas Patrol and Pack

Adjuchas Patrol mixes Hollow with stronger Adjuchas enemies. Clear the other targets first when you can, then concentrate on the remaining Adjuchas. Its nameplate may read Adjuchos. These large black enemies have white bony masks, can close distance quickly, and can stun or block you.

For Adjuchas Pack, use a defensive attack cycle with the moves available to your current form:

  1. Block the incoming attack.
  2. Counter with Cero when you have an opening.
  3. Follow with M1 melee attacks.
  4. Return to blocking before the next enemy attack, then repeat or move to the next target.

Avoid starting a slow skill while an enemy is already attacking you; interruptions can prevent it from connecting. M1 means the primary mouse attack, while the number 1 selects or unequips the first hotbar item.

If fast approaches and stuns keep breaking your attack cycle, bring a stronger teammate rather than repeatedly forcing the same solo fight. Once you can handle these enemies reliably, Patrol and Pack are useful progression options.

Vastocar Pack and Sighting Labels

Look for the purple pillar in the city during a Vastocar encounter. Vastocar Pack includes Adjuchas and a Vastocar Leader, a white-clad humanoid with gray-purple hair. Follow the Pack’s target counter as you fight around the pillar.

If you already use the Murcielago spear, take advantage of its reach and ability to hit multiple enemies:

  1. Aim V through grouped enemies to throw the spear.
  2. Press M1 to recall it, then line up your next throw.
  3. Move within striking range before using C, then follow with melee attacks when there is an opening.

Be ready to defend after attacking: the opponent can chain hits and stun you. Ranged throws are a useful way to attack a group before committing to close combat. See Resurrección weapons and moves for the spear’s full move instructions and other weapon options.

Vastocar Sighting and Vastocar Pack are separate displayed labels. Likewise, Adjuchas Sighting gives the objective to defeat Adjuchas—follow the objective currently displayed.

Modifiers, Failure and Rewards

Event labels

SPIKED means the enemies are stronger than in ordinary events. Give yourself more room to block and counter, especially against Adjuchas.

Other labels appear alongside the event status: OVERRUN on Hollow Ambush and Adjuchas Patrol, CALAMITY on Hollow Ambush, and DANGEROUS on Vastocar Pack. Read these alongside the current objective and enemy behavior; they do not replace the remaining-target counter.

Failed events

An event can end before every target is defeated. An OVERRUN Adjuchas Patrol can show FAILED with 2/4 remaining. Check the explicit outcome message before moving on; a disappearing panel alone does not confirm a clear or reward.

What you earn

Events support several kinds of progression:

  • Kill EXP: earned during combat, separately from the final clear.
  • Evolution progress: eligible Hollow stages can gain progress from kills. In Gillian-stage combat, a Hollow kill increased the meter from 19% to 20%, while an Adjuchas kill increased it from 31% to 36%—gains of 1 and 5 percentage points in those encounters. That makes Adjuchas worth considering when you can defeat them safely.
  • Completion rewards: clearing an event can award EXP and chests. Common Event Chests and Epic Event Chests list event completion as a source. The Adjuchas Pack completion EXP entry in the directory is an encounter-specific example payout.
  • Chest contents: items and Yen received when opening a chest are a separate payout. See chest rewards and opening instructions for what to do with the boxes you earn.

Choose encounters you can finish consistently before moving to harder enemies. For your next form and its requirements, follow the Hollow evolution guide. Tutorial quest turn-ins and world-boss reward previews are separate from ordinary event payouts. If you want the material-funded wave challenge, use the Raid entry and material planner.
