HOLLOW Roblox Locations, NPC Markers and World Travel

Last updated:

Find your next destination in HOLLOW using quest markers and recognizable landmarks. Start with your current objective, then use the park, riverside bridge or residential garage to locate the right NPC.

At a glance

Press J for Sensory Mode and follow your active quest marker. Koshiro and Officer Riku have park and riverside meeting points tied to your tutorial stage; follow Turn In when returning to them. For Kaito Llargo, follow the purple RAID GATE marker to a residential garage. When Riku gives you Join a Squad, press U, select Soul Society and walk into the portal, then follow the objective to the Head Captain in Seireitei.

Use J and Your Active Quest Marker

Press J to enter Sensory Mode. The view turns gray, characters can appear with purple auras, and NPC or service markers show their roles and distances in studs. Look for STORY QUEST, DAILY QUEST, QUEST GIVER and SHOP to identify the kind of destination you need.

For a tutorial objective, read the quest tracker before choosing a marker. It tells you whether to meet an NPC, reach a training area or return after completing a task. During a return stage, follow TURN IN, the required NPC’s name and its distance readout. This is especially useful when several markers share an NPC name: the active objective points to the meeting place for your current stage.

Karakura, the Starting Park and Lost Soul Grounds

Karakura Town is the human-world area where you begin starter quests, find wandering souls and encounter open-world events. West Karakura includes the starting park and the bridge-and-riverbank training area.

Use these landmarks to narrow your search:

  • Starting park: Look for large trees beside paved paths, benches and a fence with brick pillars. The tutorial contacts stand beside trees; the entrance path opens toward the town streets.
  • Riverside bridge: Later tutorial objectives lead to a large tree on the grassy riverbank near the bridge. Check the bank beside the water when the tracker sends you here for training or a return visit.
  • Lost Soul Grounds: Follow this target area for First Meal or Lost Spirits. Lost Souls also appear along Karakura streets. Look for translucent humanoids with individual names and green markers.

Choose the destination that matches the task: the park for the opening contact, Lost Soul Grounds for soul objectives, and the riverbank when the tutorial directs you to the bridge.

Find Koshiro and Officer Riku

Koshiro: Hollow tutorial

Find Koshiro beside the large tree near the park entrance path for the opening Introduction and First Meal stages. Identify him by his pink hair, orange clothing and sword at his waist. Approach and press E to speak, then select Continue to advance the dialogue.

When Introduction sends you to the bridge, head to his meeting point beneath a tree on the riverbank near the bridge. The overhead label may read Koshiro Gilgo, while dialogue, interaction prompts and return objectives use Koshiro Gilga. Both names refer to the same tutorial NPC.

Continue with the Hollow starter quest walkthrough for First Meal, First Foe, A Nearby Disturbance and The Hunger.

Officer Riku: Soul Reaper tutorial

Meet Officer Riku beside a tree in the starting park for the opening Shinigami route and Lost Spirits. He wears black robes and carries a sheathed sword. His nearby interaction label reads Riku Abarai; press E at the Speak prompt.

For Combat Training and later returns, find him under the large tree on the grassy riverbank by the bridge. The quest stage determines which meeting point you need.

Follow the Soul Reaper starter quest walkthrough for his soul, training and rescue objectives.

Find Kaito Llargo and the Raid Gate

  1. Press J and locate the purple RAID GATE marker.
  2. Follow it to Kaito Llargo beside a residential garage door.
  3. Look for his green-and-white hat, white clothing, nearby purple glow and overhead red question mark.
  4. Approach and press E at the Talk prompt to open the Garganta Keeper dialogue.

Opening the raid passage costs 2 Garganta Shards and 5 Hollow Fragments. For material planning, entering the passage and handling the opening waves, use the Raid entry guide.

Travel to Soul Society

When Officer Riku gives you Join a Squad, use his World Travel instructions:

  1. Advance Riku’s dialogue with Continue to read the travel directions.
  2. Press U to open World Travel.
  3. Select Soul Society.
  4. Walk into the portal to travel there.
  5. Follow the quest objective to speak with the Head Captain in Seireitei about your service assignment.

Seireitei is the meeting area within Soul Society for this objective. Continue with the Squad and Shikai progression guide for joining a squad and the steps that follow.

Recognize Tutorial and Activity Entrances

A Garganta appears as a black, jagged rift, but its purpose depends on who opens it and which objective you are following.

Entrance How to identify the context Where it takes you or what to do
Koshiro’s tutorial Garganta Koshiro opens it during A Nearby Disturbance. Walk into it to reach the tutorial Hollow Skirmish.
Party event Garganta Your group is entering an event; the Party leader creates the entrance. Follow your group through to the event.
Raid Garganta Opened through Kaito Llargo’s Garganta Keeper dialogue at the garage. Use this entrance for the raid.
Riku’s Senkaimon The A Soul in Peril quest directs you to it. Follow Riku’s quest instructions to enter the rescue event.

For ordinary disturbances, follow the event’s location marker or enter its Garganta when one opens. See the event guide for finding disturbances and clearing their objectives.
